Sesion 1: How to use dictionaries




In this workshop with Paula, you are going to understand the importance of dictionaries and how to look words up in them.

  1. First:  Go to this link: 


2.  After  understanding how use dictionaries, it is time to practice a bit with the ones you can find on the            web.




3.  (a)  Read this short article related to origins of words in English
     (b) Look the highlited words up in one of the online dictionaries you have openened.
     (c)  Write the correct words to complete the chart
